Twenty five years ago I and my husband Tim went on an epic trip to Pakistan, India, China and south east Asia. We returned home after 9 months when Tim’s Mum fell ill.

I got a job working for Adult Social Care and before we knew it we had bought a house and had two kids. We thought we had settled down, but as our kids turned into young adults we realised that we still had itchy feet and started to plan…..
